Starcraft on Windows 7 color problem

Starcraft's menus have some annoying color problems in Windows 7. Found pieces of this problem's fix elsewhere, but I figured I'd make a post to tie it all together.


Right click the Starcraft icon -> Properties -> Compatibility tab
Check ALL the Settings, but do NOT check Compatibility Mode
When you are ready to play, right click your desktop and open Screen Resolution

Yup, for whatever reason, this combination fixes the color issue. Just leave the Screen Res window open while you play and you're golden. :ninja:
