At least where I am, the colors of fall are coming out. I'm going to try to make sure I do that sometime this week. You should too.

I'm planning on a shoot soon. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year because of the colors, the smell, and the temperatures. Love it.

I just need some freetime to go on a shoot soon. The time is ripe for only a few days.

I drive through some wonderful, colorful hills in Kentucky on my drive to school. I'll give myself some extra time on Tuesday afternoon to stop at a rest-stop or something along the way, and get some shots of the colors.

Love the sky in that shot, FelixDeSouze!

I shot some pictures today, I'll post them when I get the chance. Many trees have lost a good portion of their leaves already, I'm afraid I may have waited to long.

I really need to go on a hike/shoot. I love to explore nature and shoot photos, and this is the best time of year to do it.
*looks at schedule*
well... maybe next year :/

Ghoosdum, what is a SoCal fall like? Are trees changing color at all, or is it an all green all the time kind of place?

So far, the fall has been a couple days of minor chill, followed by summer-like heat the rest of the time. Some of the trees are beginning to change; I found a red leaf that dropped off one of the trees in our complex. The cactus hill hasn't changed a bit. Recently the Santa Anas have started to kick up, today the wind was blowing pretty good.

Overall, doesn't feel much like fall yet!

Ok, so I finished work at 6pm last night and it was dark.. So I decided to take some pictures of the traffic from the 5th floor of the Cunard building (my work).

What do you think?

Felix, when it comes to HDRI photography 99% of the time subtle is key. Glowing edges and pastels just don't look good.

Thanks! Although that's actually a wooden railing :) I did like the contrasting colors... and it doesn't show up as well, but the bright sky to the west was really showing in the water droplets. Little more post-processing might have brought that out.

Snow is awesome to shoot, but also difficult. You need to set your exposures manually, since sensors in most cameras can't handle the nearly uniform look of snow, and think that things are getting way blown out.

If you can find your perfect settings, though, snow shots can turn out incredibly awesome.

Doubt there will be any snow here this year.. But if there is I'll be on it like a dirty rash!

I wouldn't say it'd be "better", just that personally, I would've liked to have seen it. :)
