haha that was so funny, he got pwned, haha.

You could do the same with water and dry ice, just put it in a bottle, shake it up and throw it far. Sounds like a shotgun going off. We used to do that at the grocery store I worked at when we got trucks in with dry ice on them.

We used to do that with muriatic acid and aluminum foil - you DON'T want that going off in your hand!

Calcium Carbide + Water.

Byproduct of reaction: Acetylene.

Without ignition source = loud boom and 1 ruined 20 oz plastic bottle
WITH ignition source = massive fireball + above

Man we wreaked so much havoc with those when we were kids. You can do so many things with those:

1: Put them in a 4 inch PVC pipe and they become mortar shells

2: Creative use of plastic bags with various sized holes poked in them turn these into timebombs.

3: Put one in the middle of a huge snowball for a crazy show

4: Shoot one with an arrow. Watch what happens.

5: Make a harness with a candle underneath it. Light candle, and run like hell! You only have about 10 seconds, so make it quick!

;D
