View Full Version : silicon image 3112a sata pci card
ive tried all the drivers i can find for this, but in XP the only drivers tha come up are for the 3112 and the 3512. both of these drivers produce an error code 10 (device cannot start).
im at my wits end here, can anyone shed some light on the matter?

eventually found this card (http://www.siig.com/product.asp?partnum=SC-SAT212), which uses the same chipset (mine is oem reference style board tho) and the driver for that works fine :o

I had the same problem. The solution for me was to use the driver in SIL3x12RAID/Windows folder instead of SIL3x12/Windows even if I was not using the RAID feature. It is written in the manual that for WinXP you need SATARaid Controller, but it is not located in the folder the manual tells it is.
