LJ pics?

I'm using the ole html img src tag, but somehow only I can see the pics I'm posting in my live journal entries.

Cant see them. I think it is because you are linking them to a Yahoo briefcase or something similar that requires you to be logged in to the briefcase or whatever to see them. Hence no-one other than you can see them.

I agree with Enverex.

If you can't host them on the same site, you should use a service like Photo Island (http://pacific.photoisland.com/servlet/com.arcsoft.LoginNew?com=arcsoftBanner&awp=index3.html&DIRECT=show) and make sure to set the pictures to "link for auction." (Many people use them to link images for E-bay auctions.)

Photo Island is free up to a certain number of images, then you have to subscribe.

where do I set them to link for auctions?

After you upload the pic, click on the pic in your album, and look on the left hand side menu, very bottom is a link that says "Link for Auction." Click that, it will pop open a window with the URL. Copy that URL, paste it into your journal page, and you are good to go.
