Anyone know of an application to help me do this? When I right click on the mp3 and click "convert to clie" it tells me the file format is not supported.
The Clie is stuborn and it will not allow you to load MP3's to the internal memory. You'll need a MemoryStick and AudioPlayer or MP3Mgr (on your Clie installation CD, Add-ons) to play MP3's. On my SJ33 (PalmOS4), there is a program already loaded called MS Import that connects your Clie to you computer. A drive icon will pop up in My Computer and you can use the MemoryStick equipped Clie as a USB flash drive. Then copy your MP3's to "X:\PALM\PROGRAMS\MSAUDIO" and "X" will be whatever drive letter your computer assigns.
ok, I got the mp3s to the clie. Anyone know how to transfer video files from the clie to a pc?

The player is free but you must buy the encoder. It came with my Clie with a trial version of the encoder but I haven't used it yet. You should have it too.
Is the trial version on the cd that came with the clie? It's not my machine, I'm helping out a friend.
Yes, it should be on the cd. If not, you can always download the trial version.
