The Inquirer: Intel's CT Yamhill would sink the Itanic

A REPORT SAID Intel will show off its Yamhill technology at its Developer Forum in San Francisco next month, and call its 64-bit technology CT.

See Intel confirms it will make 64-32 chip tech, again.

This might be a tribute to Andreas Stiller*, top chip correspondent on CT magazine in Germany.

Or, as one wag suggested, it might stand for Competing Technology, a dig at Intel for copying AMD technology.
