i've been running across these three formats recently and i'm wondering what they are (cause despite the fact that i tell wmp to open them and not ask questions it always does).

the .ogg and .ogm play fine in ATI MMC, what do i need to do to get the .sub to play WITH the .ogm... so that i can understand whats going on?

thx guys :)

There's a program called DirectVobSub (http://www.inmatrix.com/files/vsfilter_download.shtml) that will play the subtitles with the movie. I'm fairly certain it works with almost any media player.

Doesn't The Core Media Player handle .sub files? Or do you have to convert them to .srt first?

.ogg = Ogg Vorbis Audio (similar to mp3)
.ogm = Ogg Vorbis Media (video)
.sub = Subtitles
