Icrontic@E3: Day 2 according to GH

Day two of E3 began for me when I realized about halfway to the convention center that I forgot my camera back at the hotel. Unfortunately this means I won't be taking any photos or videos of the action today. If my wife is reading this, however, this is the reason why I want a compact pocket camera that I can carry more easily!

After a late start, we got the ball rolling today by packing down some lunch. Immediately afterward, we traveled to the conference rooms upstairs for Icrontic's...

Icrontic at E3: Day One

I'm going to try and blog the conference nightly. I started to write this last night, but unfortunately konked out due to comlete exhaustion.

Things were off to a rocky Monday start here in Los Angeles. Due to a long string of unfortunate events, I was on a separate plane from Scotty and Brian. I arrived in LA well over an hour after them, so we got off to a late start. We were all starving, and needed food. (I hadn't eaten anything since 6pm, SUNDAY). Trying to find In-n-Out burger,...

just another get fit blog...my style.

It all started when I called my friend Brian a fatass...

He is, well, was. I wasn't joking. But the next day for some reason I felt bad about calling him that. Why, I do not know.

I have a little thirft store on my mail route. And as I was walking towards their counter to deliver the mail, I tripped over a scale they had for sale sitting on the floor. Nothing major, small little stumble. But I looked at the scale, and decided to see how much I weighed. I hadn't stepped...

2 week - Final Day, Week in review

Today was will power test. We went to a b-day party at an Italian reasteraunt.
holly crap soo many good choices of pasta I almost said, it's only a day. But I stayed tough and had chicken.

Review Time:
Week 2 was surprising to me. My net loss was 0 pounds. yeah 0 pounds. My diet stayed the same for the first half and then realizing I was in starvation mode I decided to up the cal to at least 2000 a day. However, I did not do much exercise. Hmm interesting. ...

2 week - Day 13

Today was a bit of a challenge. I went to grad rapids for work and they brought lunch in. SANDWICHES!? So I sucked it up and looked like an ass hole and picked the bread off my club sandwich.

I didn't count the cal. or carbs today just because I was on the road most of the day, but I didn't eat like an asshole so I'm not concerned.

Almost done. Just have to make through one more day and I can say I completed my 2 week challenge to myself.

very...

Olivia Munn

As we all know I wanted to meet Olivia Munn at E3. Kinda was a big part for going. Me and prime were going to shoot a few videos of how bad I wanted to see her and then shoot another when I got to meet (dry hump) her.
The last month Ive sent her tweets and posted on her website. Ive been a member of her site for over a year now, so its not like Im some kinda noob. Her forum has...

2 week - day 12

WOW 12 days, I thought I'd quit around day five :-). I finally lost a pound after being in what I think was starvation mode. So far 12 day with out pasta rice or bread and do I miss it...HELL YES.

Tomorrow and Saturday will be the biggest temptations yet. I'm going to grand rapids for work and of course every meal will be at some restaurant. My co-workers are well less than supportive at times. And on Saturday Kati and I are going to an Italian restaurant for a birthday...

Some random thoughts Part 1

I've been thinking it's about time to write this down...so here goes nothing. I strangely don't miss Theresa at all romantically. I knew for months that our relationship had gone downhill and despite all my greatest efforts to breath life back into it, I saw it failing miserably. I feel like the greatest part of my depression is over, and the introduction of a couple new friends this week has made me feel quite a bit better in general. What is still getting me though is the sheer 'aloneness' of...

Serious as a heart attack

I left home on April 24, headed to Detroit, Michigan for work. After working 8 straight 12+ hour days, my journey continued on to Greensboro, North Carolina. Around 8:00 AM, on the morning of my eleventh day in Greensboro, I called my wife to see how she was doing. Her response is always: "I'm fine". Today was different though as she said she wasn't doing good. I asked what was wrong and she informed me that she was on her way to the hospital. Again, I asked what was wrong. She rattled off...

2 week - Day 11

Ok Ok, 3 days left and I'm already things how I'm going to approach the rest of the year. I don't think I knew when to stop eating. The small meals I eat now serve just fine I don't need all the extra sides. I plan on losing 10 more pounds before Dec. I'm not far now, and slowly but surely, it will come off, and force me into much need habit change.

I thought of this today and a friend of mine didn't agree. I was thinking about one of the laws of physics and thermodynamics....

2 week - day 10

Woke in the morning expecting to see something different on the scale, but it hasn't budged. Ok, something isn't right. I checked my fitday log and I'm sure I put my self into starvation mode. The call intake for the last few days has been under 1000 some days just above. Today I corrected that. Still no bread, pasta, or rice but I took in more food. made my self a tasty hamburger on the grill and had some delicious colby/jack cheese...yum. Don't worry I had my vegetables too.

Old School is Cool Vol. 2 - Sariens and the Golden Mop

Last time on this blog, I reviewed Fantasy Empires, a rather obscure turn based stategy game from 1993. For those who missed my review of it, you can read it here. This time I go back to 1986, to an adventure game I spent many hours playing at my mother's shop after school. The main reason I played this game there was because it was one of the few I could get to run on her office system at the time. So what is this game?

2 week - day 9

Today I almost hit my breaking point. I was OK till i got home and wanted something "good" to eat. Great bland chicken again. wow I love it. Very cranky this evening. Poor Kati, I had to apologize for being such a little bitch. I got keep the right frame of mind. There really isn't that much longer that I'm going to hold myself to this exstream diet.

I know what set me off today. I was having a "fat" day. The scale read 202. WTF 202 I was just 200 yesterday. Thinking about...

Get your kicks on Route 66

This weekend was my first trip into town on my new scooter. I had to air up the tires and didn't want to beg the neighbors for the use of their air compressor, so off to town I went looking for free air at the gas station.

This is my first time on the road.

My street isn't too well traveled so I had the road all to myself and was able to get comfortable with my scooter's capabilities and my own. It's a pretty rough road too, which only added to the fun. I took the scooter...

2 week - Day 8

sunday sunday sunday

Another day another blog. I did see 200 on the scale this afternoon, actually it was 200.8, so call it 201. So that's were I start this week. I would like to see 195 by Sunday but, that's not really my main goal so I won;t focus on that too much.

Today I ate kinda shitty. Basically from going to the movies and having a real coke (oh that was good) and movie pop corn (maybe 4 cups). By the end of the day I came in just over 75 on carbs and...

2 week - day 7 & week in review

I'd have to say that I can;t wait till this stupid diet is over. The food I like have bread or pasta or rice, and I like eating them. grrrrr. I think after next week I'll watch how much I have vs. being on a diet. I have lost 6 pound officially, and tomorrow I expect to see another pound drop off.

I did a lot of physical activity today. I lifted heavy pieces of lumber and built some new benches for my garage. I think I worked out in the garage for about 6 hours, then mowed...
