Indeed, that is the thing that worries me most about Windows, I notice slowly over time as I go from version to version that you can do less and less things (I mean more things are locked down rather that utlities and such) etc. Sure, not all of it is Microsoft's fault, but other things are... I just like to be the one that controls my OS.
