My desktop on the dumb-terminal at work. I'm not allowed to change any settings, so it looks just like everyone else's (except for firefox, which I shouldn't have been able to install (don't tell my boss)).

I told a couple of people at ICSP that I would post my home desk setup. It's across two monitors, and I'm also posting a picture in the 'Post your desk' thread, to show more how it's set-up

Attached is my full desktop on my main rig, both monitors in their typical PM state. In the AM, Steam Friends list is replaced by Outlook, but otherwise this is pretty much how I roll. And yes Thrax, there ARE enough programs running.

Desktop on a Samsung Syncmaster 23" HDMI HDTV monitor

Desktop background is Win 7.
Rocket Dock (I love the customizable opaque bar with one click icons.)
Stardock/Desktop Widgets--
Silica Picture Frame-- Runs a complete folder of pictures you choose at the speed you pick.
Mine is photo's I've taken around home and the area.
This one is a Royal Poinciana tree.
You can pretty much size the window to what you want.
Frame color is one click changeable.

Weather Lab 6.3. exe-- Gives you a complete weather station for your zip code/ town/ city.
You set how often you want it to update.
Background color is changeable.

Silica Calender-- Nice small calender that folds up to show mnth/day/yr.
Also drops down/opens up to show entire month and is scrollable to what ever month you want to look at.
Frame color is one click changeable.

I'm really surprised how many of you guys are running rocketdock on Win 7, sure they work differently then the new start bar but not by that much.

Agreed, I haven't kept desktop icons up in at least a year, everything is launched via the keyboard. My OS X dock and my Win 7 taskbar have no quick launch icons, it's only what's running.

Canti, how in the hell do you possibly deal with that? I haven't seen a terrible interface like Xfire that makes me want to curl up in a fetal position since Windows Media Player 9.
