I am so lost with this hard drive

So I had 2 500GB drives put into a raid setup about a month ago. In that I broken them apart when I got my Intel system rebuilt & wanted to use them as individual drives. It wasn't until the other day I realized that these drives are suppose to be 500GB drives & they are showing up as 232GB drives?

I did however set up Windows 7 on one of the drives, which is fine as I can reformat the system. but how can I go about my system seeing these drives at their full 500GB?

The odd thing is before I set them up as raid drives they showed up as 500GB drives, but now in the BIOS menu they show as 250GB drives???? I know for a fact they are 500GB drives. What gives?

Enable Raid on the controller and then go into the Raid bios (CTRL-I or whatever) and create an array or reset the drives away from raid.

Yup that worked... but was odd it was seeing 1/2 the size. Took me like 20 restarts until I found the right buttons to get into RAID options...
