Samsung LCDs

So I've heard good things about the samsung models, and i was doing a bit of looking around....

First, I'm looking for a 15" model, and its probably going to be analog with my budget (<$300). I'm thinking black or silver bezel.

Now, i see 3 samsung models, the 151S, the 151N, the 150N, and the 152B?

Which ones of those are best? If anyone knows anything about any of those specific models, please comment.

Thanks

I sold a 151n last week with the black bezel, and it was a really nice screen. The one thing I would suggest is that you get a bezel that best matches the color of the wall behind it, so it blends in a bit making it seem like a larger screen.

With the backdrop being a brownish hue, i will look for a woodgrained bezel. A very valid suggestion nonetheless.

I have a vprMatrix from Best Buy, which is basically a rebadged Samsung. It's great. Very nice picture and not much ghosting (in my opinion, anyway). I don't know which model it corresponds to though, and it's a 17" anyway. It was $300 after rebate tho.

ah, bestbuy, currently pricing the samsung 152N at $330-$50 rebate = $280 shipped. Would that be a good price for a samsung, or can i get a better deal? where?

I have been using a Samsung 151MP for about a year now, great screen. Besides VGA, it also has Composite, S-Video and HD inputs, with Picture-In-Picture capability . I use these when I do demos of our Digital Video (MPEG) equipment - I can show the software interface as well as the video output at the same time. Been on a lot of road trips with me, and still works fantastic.

A general comment about LCD screens. I had a 17" LCD at home for a bit right next to my 19" CRT. You had to double take to see which one appeared larger for actual screen size. The actual viewable area of a 19" CRT monitor is roughly between 1/2 inch and 1" greater than a 17" LCD.
