Help with the names of a couple of movies.

There is a movie I remember seeing in the 80's that was produced in the late 70's and entailed a comet hitting Phoenix, AZ. It was a sci-fi movie. Anyone have any idea what the name is?

The other one is where a star or a planet is heading for earth, they build rocket ships that first start off on a downhill rail to gain speed to escape earth and land on another planet somewhere else, this was produced in the late 60's early 70's.

Another Movie I am think of. This one being of a programmer and a computer. The programmer writes a simple AI program that will mimick any sound it hears.

The first sound it hears and mimicks of that of a dog barking. The dog hears it and get scrared and leaves a puddle on a floor. The computer then starts learning more and more sounds till which it attempts to take control of the house and the programmer.

It does such things as have a party at night, making it appear as though there are lots of people are there loud music and colorful lights. A neighbor comes out to yell, the computer turns it off, turning the sound back on as the neighbor goes back in.

The computer at the near of the end of the movie orders a electrical spike of 1 million volts therefore committing suicide, and blows out all of SanFrancisco's electrical grid. The end of the movie shows the computer taking control of a radio station and playing a song meant for the programmer and his girlfriend.
