Internet?

I figure it's a long shot, but will there be internet access @ the lan? (or will I need to go house to house trying to find a hotspot?)

The coffee shop will have cabled and wireless 512K DSL.

It's not much, especially if many people are online at once.

I'm going to politely ask that everyone refrain from using P2P apps while on the premises for the covenience of everybody else.
