The Short-Media Security Forums - READ FIRST!

Due to an increasing number of users posting security, virus, adware and browser hijack related questions, Short-Media.com has responded by launching a dedicated forum section for all security related discussion. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Virus warnings, tips and techniques for safe computing

Short-Media is fortunate to have several members with excellent knowledge and experience in all of these areas, all of whom are happy to share their knowledge with you. If you are experiencing problems in any of these areas, or just have a question, please post it in the appropriate area: the General Security Discussion forum, or the Spyware/Virus/Trojan Discussion forum.

BEFORE POSTING "HIJACK THIS" LOGS, PLEASE SEARCH THE EXISTING THREADS FOR INSTANCES OF YOUR PROBLEM BEFORE STARTING A NEW ONE! The chances are very good that you are not the first one to experience a problem, so have a look through the existing threads to see if the answer is already there. If you do not have a particular problem, and just want to post your "Hijack This" log for tweaking and tuning tips, please feel free to do so.

Also, please update and run Adaware 6 as well as Spybot Search and Destroy 1.3 before posting a log. Doing so will help you get assistance quicker, as well as make it easier for whomever is helping you. If you do not have either, they can be found in the Security section of Short-Media Downloads:
