omegasearch - mustain

Ghetto thread split #2

OK! i still got omegasearch, but something's different:
an extra omegasearch window opens up with my explorer, one that looks like a toolbar, and when i close it, some stupid pop up window opens up.
Dexter, thanks for your help on this. You posted the following:
F0 - syst>m.ini: Shell=
F0 - R >ystem.ini: Shel>=
F0 - R >ystem.ini: UserInit=
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0204BF12-7A91-2672-26FF-58533F1533A6} - C:\PROGRA~1\SUPPOR~1\BallBird.dll
O3 - Toolbar: ????? - {8E718888-423F-11D2-876E-00A0C9082467} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\msdxm.ocx

Does that mean that i should delete those, because you didn't say anything.
Also, i tried deleting:
C:\PROGRA~1\Ford Error Hide\DVD OPTION START.exe
but when i run a scan, it reappears!! what should i do?
Also, i found in my program files something called "Ford Error Hide", and it looks suspisious, because inside it is something called DVD Option Start!! Sounds familiar?
I also followed the previous guide, and tried to create a new restore point. But the thing is, i don't really know how to do that; It asks you to give the restore point a name, but shouldn't it let you set the restore date??? I'm sorry for asking such stupid questions, but i'm no computer wiz, that's for sure.
My new log is:

Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7
Scan saved at 16:54:30, on 2004/04/15
