One year anniversary video

Music courtesy of Spinner The audio doesn't start right away, so don't think something's wrong It was a bit of a hack job since I did it all in one day - planning through final cut. Hope y'all like it.

Well, I always thought the best thing ever for Short-Media was the day Dan called me out of the blue to tell me what was going on with Icrontic. That the administration cared that much about its users to make a trans-atlantic call on his bill to let them know.

Short-Media is unique in the sense that it freely allows submissions from its members. Very few sites allow that. I'm glad I got the chance to submit my articles somewhere.

Short-Media has the lowest flames per capita of any forum on the internet, and that rocks.

There are soo many events for such a great site, such as IC13 in memory of Bart Williams, It was a true honor to be able to host such an important SMx box. I have never seen such a site come together when a member needs it, such as when Heather passed away, SM is such a small site compared to other tech sites, but we are the closest of any site I have been to. If could wrap SM up into one word it would be FAMILY.

I came to Shortmedia for the info, I stayed for the company. I don't often help anybody as there are lots of people with far more expertise than me and they are always willing to help. I post mainly in the pub but have never been criticised for that. I have always felt welcome here. I have browsed quite a few forums but have never seen anything like SM, it's a real community, it's special, it's full of people who I shall probably never meet but who will go out of their way and spend time to help me! I love it to bits. Congrats to the three guys who set this up, congrats to all the members who make it what it is. Thanks for being there. You done good.

Great job Gen. Keebs.....

I didn't see this thread until late last night. I was hoping to be able to add my comment but missed the deadline.

I have so much to say about Short-Media. You're the first place I go when I get to work... The last place I look be fore I head home, and the last thing I do before going to bed. I stay up late just to read all the posts that I've missed and I know when I wake up, there will be more posts waiting for me....

Short-Media is more than family... Other than my wife and kids, I don't talk to my family nearly as much as I talk with the Short-Media crew...

Thank You for being who you are, Short-Media, and letting me be who I am.

Phenomenal job, Keebs. Yes, the convo me and MM had is priceless. I never laughed so hard.
