Max voltage of XP1700

Hey, quick question about my XP1700. It is a tbred A, and i am currently running 1.75Ghz @1.7V. I have the AX-7 cooler with an 80mm fan, and the CPU temp hangs around 40C. What is the max voltage you guys can run on air? I dont want to push too high, but i want to get closer to 2Ghz. Im running an Asus A7V333.

Tbred As are not good at OC and giving them more voltage will only make them suffer... Try to get a Tbred B in which case with air cooling its not wise to go over 1.9-2.0v at the most (less if its a Tbred B 1.5v).

There are Tbreds A and B both 1.5v

Yours certainly are a Tbred A. Check with WCPUID if its a 680 or 681 processor.

Yours is most likely a Tbred A, when did you order it? Or check with wcpuid like Ultra suggested. You might be able to hit a little higher than 1.75Ghz, according to how airflow is in your case also.
