Leo! That is breathtaking!
sigh.....
When my wife and I drove up to the house, she navigating, I driving, I about fainted when we stepped out of the truck. I just couldn't believe that no one had made an offer on the property yet. We had been on the go for days, viewing every home that seemed to fit our parameters. We found this one, and had an offer in within 48 hours.
"What's wrong with it? Something has got to be wrong with it" I thought to myself when we first viewed the house. I have yet to find anything wrong. The engineer's inspection came back with a solid confirmation of the construction and quality. Heck, the house is only six years old! It's on a septic system and well. The water is good enough no water softener is needed (unlike our home in Fairbanks!). The roads are paved, and are serviced in the winter. (Still though, we're glad our vehicles have four-wheel and all-wheel drive.) The driving time to my new work location in Anchorage is 30 minutes; 25 minutes to my son's school. Ten minutes away is a Wal Mart, grocery store, and shopping. To add icing to the cake, DSL is available. Cable TV is not available but the house's orientation on the mountain is well suited for satellite.
