Yep everything counts
1x makes all the difference.

What I like the most is that it spins at 314,304 rpm.
If you could open the drive, the thing would go into orbit.

I use Daemon Tools ver. 3.29

Go for it Tex, I would love to see what speed you could get with your setup. If it was real the CD would take off to the moon it would be spinning that fast

I'm stuck at robs folks in Colorado. Remind me when I get home !The drives hit around 200,000 on normal atto in their present configuration. I had to sell a drive off and had one go bad. The old setup hit 240,000 but I was basicaly maxing the controller out. Might be fun to see with cdrom emulation on the scsi hardware raid. Might blow the top off sanda's benchmark actually. Can you see a cd spinning so fast it could levitate the computer? Or slice thru the front like a circular saw?

hehe.

Next, on CSI. A man is found brutally murdered next to his computer, a cd stuck halfway into his neck. Word has it he overclocked his CD drive to beat a man known only as "Tex" at a benchmark. I guess he did not know what this "Tex" was capable of. Authorities are still investigating!
