It's not in my industry, but I don't have much of a demo reel yet anyways. Plus I want to work on it some, but more on that in a moment.

I'll be a porter where my dad works, he's a mechanic over in Houston. I'll basically be getting paid $7 to drive cars around, not too shabby. But not a lot of money either, but I just need something so my parents can shut up and let me wok on my demo reel.

The Goods...
I'll be getting paid decently to just drive cars around to get serviced.
I'll be car pooling with both my parents so I won't have to dish out any gas money.
I'll be working week days so I'll have weekends to myself, and weeknights as well.
I'll work from 7AM to 4PM, so I'll have to be awake at 6AM at best.
I'll be getting OUT of the house, some sun in my skin and learn new things as I'll probably have to do other things as well since they aren't always busy.

The bads...
The money isn't grand...
Most if not all my money will be going into paying off a near $60K debt, at least $55K.
The rest of it will be for paying back my parents on money borrowed from them, and also rent money.
I have to pay rent now... to my parents.
I don't have much a life anyways....
I probably can't save up for that laptop I have truefully and woefully needed for so long now... about to cry.
The first few days will kill me as I've been waking up at 10 to 12 in the mornings.

The great thing is though, all in all, the money will count as something and then some since gas is something that can be counted on costing lots of money I won't have to worry about it with a car pool, that's possibly a good $50 a month at least saved becuase I'll be working with my dad and near my mother.

I no longer have to worry about finding a job or paying off my debt... as much... and con now work on my demo reel without hesitation! You have no idea how big that is to me.

The worse thing is though, as much as the demo reel means to me having a laptop is just as dear. Having a laptop gives me so much more room for work and mobility. I can do work while going OTHER PLACES. IE downstairs with the living instead of locked up in my room for hours on end living the life of a hermit. People love to talk in Texas, especially around here where computers arn't numero uno.

Ohh well, I hope I get the job. It seems like I will with the way the boss talked. I'll have my piss test tomorrow, so lots and lots of water and lemons and other juices are flowing through me right now becuase I had a bit of fun just 3 weeks ago. Would suck to fail this one, but I never have anyways
