Bronze Telly

I was informed this week that a television serier I co-directed last summer has won a bronze Telly Award for exelence in indipendent television. Our producer entered the seires without telling us, and just E-mailed me to tell me that it won.

It's not their top prize, but it it still very cool, and I'm proud of myself and my crew.

That was for 'Studio 89' it was a live-music program (the music was live, but the TV program was not) that was shown weekly last season on PBS in Cincinnati. It was very popular, and they show re-runs on Saturday nights, by popular demand this season because we didn't make a second season (one of our partners backed out, and the show was no longer feasable).

I have the first-season on DVD. I could bring it with me to the LAN if anyone wants to see it.
