need some help in AutoCAD 2002

Ok, im just messing around with the 3d shapes(i know autoCAD is poor at 3d, just want to see if i can do it) and i created a wedge. Is there any way to rotate it around the x-axis? It only lets me rotate around the z-axis, which is not what i need. i need to do this because it always creates the slope of the wedge on the x-axis. Thanks ahead of time!

It should let you rotate around x,y,z. I'm guessing here and never really used the app but check to see if any buttons open and lock the axis, the apps i use have them, just a thought.

If it's like ACAD2000, you need to change the viewport, I think. One way to do that is UCS - New - 3, then align it via 3 points (it helps to have a cube already handy, and be looking at it at a diagonal like SW viewpoint).

I know there's an easier way, but I can't seem to recall how to change from X-Y to X-Z, Z-Y, etc.

I do all of my solid modeling in autocad then import it to 3dstudio ...it's not so bad once you get the hang of it.
