omg

I constantly recieve a popup from "Messenger Service" that warns me about fake, critical errors on my computer that dont exist and tells me to go to a specific website to delete it, which I know is not true, but how do i stop these popups from popping? its so annoying, they pop LITERALLY every 10 seconds.

Disable the Messenger Service. It has nothing to do with any IM program, and you won't miss it.

Right-Click "My Computer", left-click "Manage". Go down to "Services and Applications>>Services".

Find it in the list on the right, double-click it, then change Startup Type to disabled. :)
