slk-800u vs slk-900u

what is the practical difference here? i'm gonna be putting it on a 2.8c / is7-g combo i'm fairly sure, so which one?

also, i'm using TT, if you have better temps and have something quieter, please let me know (preferrably that i can order from newegg: sunon, ystech, tt, or panaflo)

since both will fit on a p4 board, get the slk-900. Sunon's 92mm x 25mm fans flow around 45cfm and they're decently quiet...

just out of curiosity, the same applies for amd boards? i'm just not clear on the difference between the 800a 800u and 900u.

The 800u has support for intel socket 478 as well as socket A. The 900u is for socket A and socket 478


edit: and I think the 900u can hold a 92mm fan.

Yes, it can hold a 92mm fan!
Higher CFM and lower DB!!!

and just so you know, the U after the slk800 and slk900, means it's universla, so it will fit both on a p4 board, and amd board.

they're both pretty expensive, you might as well get the 900u and a 92mm fan.
