OCZ Laptop Ram Praise!

If you own a Intel Laptop that supports DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) or DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) this ram is for you and only you.

OCZ 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM Notebook Memory

This stuff earns a A++++ in my book, easy install, faster than light and was at a price point no one can turn down....

Check it out and buy it, It will increase your performance.

I agree Sledge. I got 2GB PC2700 for a pretty old HP Lappy my wife uses and it worked straight away. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't work. Many of these big manufacturers are sometime very quirky about ram.

When you consider this, the picture is not as rosy as it first seems:

OK 3800mbps compaired to what before? I have 2GB of DDR2 in mylaptop already... don't wanna upgrade for a minor increase in speed.

Also system specs including chipset.

I think the stock chips from HP for 1 Gig 2 x 512MB were hitting at 2990Mbps so I almost got a 1000Mbps increase.

Hence why I praised OCZ in this thread....
