You shouldn't see any difference in proformance (at least I didn't all through beta). It's just a collection of bug fixes.

I was just going to ask if I should install SP3 or SP4. I just did a fresh install of 2k and went to the MS site to get SP3 and saw SP4 was available.

Guess I'll install SP4.
