Need Linux DAW Optimization Tweaks

Hi all

This is a shameless attempt to add Linux props to our site:

http://www.prosoundreview.com/forum/...?s=&forumid=29

Can anyone point me in a direction that discusses all things Linux DAW?

Building a Linux DAW is on my future wish list as well but right now I'm working on a >20MB Win9.x/ME Frankenstein.

Thanks!

I replied on your website forum.

For any others into Digital Audio on Linux, the following apps have gotten a bunch of user notice:

Ardour
http://ardour.sourceforge.net/
Audacity
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Digital Audio Processor (DAP)
(Looks like a small project)
Xine
(multimedia app, not just sound)

Ubiquitous Google search:

Here's two other sites that may be of interest:

http://www-ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/

http://sound.condorow.net/

The first site should be of particular interest as it discusses
a Linux kernel optimized for low latency.
