win2000 network problem

hi guys, i just installed a creative webcam on my comp. after installing it, my network wouldnt work properly anymore. the LAN can be detected but i cant access any sites. i tried pinging to the router but no response. wat could be the problem?

btw, i had problems getting the right drivers/software for the creative webcam. so, i tried a few version. i think that might have messed up something there.

and ive sinced un-installed the webcam and re-configuring the network. but still the same problem persist.
