Gnomes Recommended Dl's!

Figured i'd make a thread of programs I think are the most helpful in certain areas. So without anymore delays here we go!

SonicStage - It's a program i found while looking for something to transfer mp3's to a mini disc player. It not only does that but the media player and Media Library setup is so sweet i no longer use any other program to play music. So Simple and Sleek.

It can be DL'ed from here
Canidan Models http://ciscdb.sel.sony.com/install/p...0upgrd-ca.html

USA Models http://ciscdb.sel.sony.com/install/p...grd-redir.html

Also the DL tool I use to stop pause resume broken DLes is Getright. I use Direcway sat internet which sucks when Dling big Files.

Search for it and DL it from www.Cnet.com

Second and most important one for now is FireFox I strongly sugest that EVERYONE use this for thier browser. IF you dont well u miz well start singing " As I walk through the valley of Death"

Get it at www.firefox.com

Dont forget Adaware! You must keep ur PC spy ware free! www.Cnet.com has it available for DL.

Trillian! w00t! what can i say I talk with MSN and AOL all the time so its a must. When i am talking with Citrix on msn and Trekky on AOL its never screws up!

Dl it here! - http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/

Oh and for all you CD ripping needs www.Cnet.com has the answer with CDEX. I can't simple explain how much i love this program Thanks go to Thrax over at S-M to showing me this. I use it without exxageration 2 or 3 times daily.

I thought Getright got slam hard for putting spyware on systems. I remember using it a long time ago and worked great but since the advent of P2P I have no use for it.

I'll definitely second firefox though stupid to surf the internet without it.

To that for general mail use I'd recomend Mozilla/firefox email program Thunderbird the links are at the same sight.

tmpgenc Can't live without my video encoding you can get it at http://www.tmpgenc.net/

And for playing back any form of video you need the right codec. Best collection available is K-lite http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/ Best of all if you have an older slower machine it comes with the older media player which is a fraction of a system hog that the current media player is. It also gomes with GDivX player which is the player I'll use if the other players crap out it's extremely good at playing poorly made video.

Next on my list of must haves isn't free, but it's easy enough to get a free copy. Nero for burning CD/DVD's it's the best there is.
