OCZ Heatspreaders on the Gold DDR2 line.

I'll be the first to say I'm a moron when it comes to thermal environments and heat jargle, but I've got the gold line of DDR2 800, and I'm wondering if it's safe to put the sticks side by side, since the heatspreaders look like they'll touch if I do. I'd also like some generalized specs on them, I have OCZ2G8001G, and whenever newegg gets off their fat, lazy Californian asses, I'll have my other stick back.

It's fine. They won't touch.

Hi there,

http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...c_dual_channel

There you have the specs for your ram. Both timings and voltages are included.

The spreaders won't touch, but it is still a tight fit.
