How to get SSE Boost?

Hi chaps,

I've seen plenty of posts of how to keep SSE Boost but I can't seem to get it at all in the first place.

I've set the appropriate flags thus:

# Windows Graphical Edition ###################################################
###############################################################################

Folding@home Client Version 3.25

http://foldingathome.stanford.edu
email:help@foldingathome.stanford.edu

###############################################################################
###############################################################################

Arguments: -advmethods -forceasm

[12:32:45] - Ask before connecting: No
[12:32:45] - User name: Crypto (Team 93)
[12:32:45] - User ID = 5AB913AE2265F48E
[12:32:45] - Machine ID: 1

but I only get:

[12:40:05] Protein: p340_gnra_nat
[12:40:05]
[12:40:05] Writing local files
[12:40:56] Completed 472943 out of 500000 steps (94)
[12:40:56] Extra 3DNow boost OK.
[12:49:21] Writing local files
[12:49:21] Completed 475000 out of 500000 steps (95)
[13:09:19] Writing local files

Have I missed something?

Is it because I'm running lowly TBird CPU's? (800 & 1200)

Cheers

Make sure you have right core version 1.48. Backup current FAH folder to be safe then delete the core and it should download v1.48.

I've run WCPUID on my rig and it appears my 1200 TBird does not support SSE Boost

I assumed that all AMD CPUs did.

My bad luck eh?

Cheers

YES Tbirds don't run SSE - palominos were the first to support SSE
