AMD's Thorton picture up on web

Pictures of the AMD "Thorton" chip, which the firm claimed never existed earlier this year, have appeared on a web site.
Hexus.net has a pic of what appears to be a Barton but only with half the level two cache, that is to say 256K.

OK so I dont get it. 1/2 the L2 cache is the same as a TBred. Whats so different?

AMDC2200DUV3C

U=1.6V
V=85C
C=266mhz

Thats at least for Tbred Bs.

I dont know how much L1 cache improves performance like we all know what more L2 does.

A bigger core would help with cooling.
