John, I'm sorry to risk insulting you like this, but you should either found a religion or go into politics.

The way to make lots of money in IT is to know how to communicate ideas. If your idea does not work for the other guy to fit in with goals or uses, it is useless to him. If forums balance between the two overall, and this one does mostly, then they will be hyper-popular, often read, often linked to and what is said will be more often referenced and relied on.
I have a religion, but it applies to IT only as human use applies to IT, and the reasons for using boxes applies for IT, and the human things that influence making what is produced work or not to meet the "controlling" user's goals. If I had to dump about pure religion would do so-- at KeyboardJockey. And I hate politics because I am too outspoken by nature. BUT, if I stick to outlined facts, they can be rad useless to folks who do not understand the context of the fact's application relevance-- or scope of use. Why should I found a religion, when part of mine is that folks have a right to use their computers both for enjoyment and more effective ways to accomplish their goals where the goals are nto to trample on others??? And THAT is as individual as you are from me.
Appropriate scope of use can be tuned to what the user considers intuitive as far as which ways of the many work best for that user. And that results in folks who rely on you and will pay because you can do both well and communicate quickly and precisely in ways they each think are very valuable to meet their goals.
I know you care Prof, but I need not found a religion, most religions have respect for others (in some way or ways)in common-- they just each (individually) try to define exactly "what others" should be respected a bit too much. And I am too busy doing IT (Information Tech-- applied) to do so, anyhow.
