Apple recommends AV protection

In a low-key posting on the Apple support website, the Cupertino vendor has suggested that users of Macintosh computers employ a panel of AV solutions.

Apple encourages the widespread use of multiple antivirus utilities so that virus programmers have more than one application to circumvent, thus making the whole virus writing process more difficult. Here are some available antivirus utilities:

Apple goes on to identify three solutions from vendors such as Norton and McAfee that are supposed to fit the bill.

    crazy crazy two out of the three that they are recommending can be purchased in the apple store. Thats really nice of them.
