The 180-series driver, dubbed Big Bang II, has been released to beta by NVIDIA. The driver release that has been eagerly awaited by enthusiasts adds several new features to the existing capabilities of Forceware drivers. These additions include:

• Multi-monitor SLI
• Two, four or six monitor arrays
• PhysX offloading to a secondary GPU

Other improvements in the 180-series drivers include beta support for SLI on X58 chipsets, general SLI enhancements, and major gains for non-SLI rendering in some of today’s hottest titles.

Products supported by the update include all GeForce 8000, 9000 and 200-series GPUs.
