Well you can aim a couched lance to the left or right of the horse's head just like the multiplayer.
Oh and I didn't see you mention the whole 'become your own king quest' where you send out your own companions on public relation's quests to stir …
I don't know either CB, but some details did come out about some project they are working on during the lawsuit between them and Interplay over Fallout rights.
I swear I just read something about it the other day, but as soon as I need to reference…
Things would still be tense and overworked around release regardless. There is an understandable amount of trepidation with a huge project like Red Dead coming to fruition after years of development and being way over budget. That these sort of thin…
Koreish said:The origin stories almost have no purpose, they're all short, and after about 4 hours into the game no one really cares anymore.
I found the origin stories to be a lot more fun than the rest of the game. It feels like actual roll playin…
I blame Winfrey for everything. He was the one who goaded me to join the TF2 server and later this community. Somehow the tendrils stuck and when I'm not toiling away at college course work I manage even to write articles for these people.
Roving witch is even scarier, oh and don't hit her with bile, the horde doesn't arrive in time to keep you from getting torn apart (oh and while she is on top of you 40 zombies swarm around you so you're teamates can't shoot her or get you up)
flOw and Osmos definitely share in a few things. I'd say flOw is more of an adventure game while Osmos is closer to a puzzle game. There are no equivalent to the 'boss battles' in flOw in Osmos, and there are no maps like the stasis puzzles in flOw.
Maybe I was just praising the developers for not sugar coating history. I couldn't imagine Indiana Jones without huge red Nazi banners or SS soldiers without red arm bands. Maybe its just me, but when I have to kill Germans in WWII I want to make ex…
I wanted to touch on this in my Wolfenstien article. I give Raven alot of props for putting the swastika in there. Too often in games like Company of Heroes or Call of Duty they are downplayed or omitted entirely.
I like it. Really what it reminds me of is Metroid, the way they show you things that you don't have to tools to get yet just makes it more rewarding when you finally have unlocked the whole utility belt.
So any comments on the new patch? Blutsauger nerf? Medic + Heavy buff (additional healing and sandvich distribution?
I freaking love it. I never was a big fan of the sandvich but jesus it is helpful now.
This isn't a multiple choice test, there is not correct load out. You can't weedle down TF2 into a series of wrong and right choices.
Just recognize that it has its uses as an alternative inventory item, that's all we are asking otherwise this arg…
To call the backburner useless is stupid. Anyone who has been pushing a cart with four other players then suddenly a backburning pyro annihilate them knows that it has its merits. Its not 'Slightly faster deaths' its damn near instant to anything b…

Thrax said:The Dark Ages? You mean the one where the computer doesn't do all the work for the lazy player?
Lazy? Company of Heroes players are alot of things, but lazy? Heaven forbid I want to focus on combat in a strategy game GASP!
UPSLynx said:I loved the combat, destruction, and complete visceral violence of it.
But I have to say, I'm not a big fan of the resource management style. Much like Dawn of War, you capture and hold points to gain more resources. This forces pl…
Its 10,000 people that used the idling program, on any given night TF2 had 35,000 active players. The 4.5% number is for people who own TF2 or the Orange Box.
I just don't like that I'm being punished like I cheated. I didn't alter my game files o…
lol the amount of RAAAGE in this thread makes me laugh.
But _k_ (I can't believe I'm saying this) having this fight over monetary value is asinine. Preference for the most part has nothing to do with how much money we spend on our insane hobbies.
Overlord II isn't revolutionary or groundbreaking, but its funny, fun and is a happy little time waster. Really it would not have warranted a review, except that there is so little coming out. I would never recommend it over say Fallout 3, or if any…
Yeah I like the tiles, but on some of them when you get into the late game it rapes your framerate. I just started out on a new one and it seems to have fixed that problem though, and yes you do lose bragging rights.
The one I use is here http://ma…
There are a bunch of rumors online that L4D 2 will be bundled with a Halflife 2: Episode 3 and something new from Counter Strike? Hmm. I think Valve is crafty I don't know if they have done THAT much work...
It remains to be seen though.
Who plays spy anymore? all that come to mind is Weezer and Thrax but they really don't play much
Interesting article plus hints about updates.
I liked this bit "Walker feels the Engineer's sentry guns have become "too binary." They're highly lethal to s…
