firefox 20 is lightspeed crazy
i decided to swtich to chrome a long time ago, the reason -> performance. despite being a memory hog because of the chrome sandbox effect (where chrome loads each website/tab into a separate process for security and stability reasons but eats memory like popcorn in the process but is a killer performance bringer), i have always been a chrome fan since the browser hit firefox with crazy amounts of smooth performance.
furthermore i tweaked chrome further by going into the google gpu flags under the address bar location:
"chrome://gpu"
to basically leave firefox in the dust.
THAT ALL CHANGED TODAY.
my friend asked if he could use firefox on my 8gb ddr3 ram but su4100 intel netbook processor. i said sure knock yourself out.....what surprised me the most was how fast the webpages loaded. ok thats not right.
apparently i tried some pages that i know that the su4100 could not handle, such as heavy interactive youtube and games on facebook loaded with imag
