I already have my "normal" GTX260 running at the "superclocked" speeds. So unless you're afraid of rivatuner, I'd say save the pennies and get a normal GTX260 and just overclock it.
fatcat, what did you upgrade from? I have an 8800GT and I'm wondering if the GTX260 is decent step up for a couple bennies.
I got mine off newegg in the open box section for $155. When I recieved it, I actually had gotten a retail unopened box.
I upgraded from a 4850. the GTX260 is pretty much on par with a 4870 1GB. If you can find one open box or on sale on newegg go for it.
