  • I'm seriously considering getting a SLVR. Flip-phones are cool and all, but I really like the SLVR. Oh, and if I wanted to spend a lot of money, I would get a Kickflip, no doubt about it.

  • µTorrent - Fantastically small and powerful BitTorrent client. Many of the same features as Azureus, with 1/10 the footprint. Doesn't even need to be installed 4 MB of RAM with 40 torrents going currently Wallpaper Calendar 3 - Has made my life…
  • It's funny how things circulate around. It's weird, but this is almost always one of the last places things get. Possibly because it's so small of a place? Anyway, my science teacher has this on his door as well.
  • Yeah, I blocked it as soon as I saw it. It's far, far too big (and obnoxious, but that's just an opinion) for a forum. It was also quite laggy.
  • Let Airplanes Circle Overhead - Let Airplanes Circle Overhead Perfect album for this night. Nice and post-rockish, plenty of intensity and tempo changes, etc. Fits just perfect for my mood.
  • Thanks for all the great information, guys! I have yet to check out those sites in-depth, but I just haven't had time. From talking to people, I think I've narrowed it down to UW Madison, Platteville, or Stevens Point. Private-wise, possibly Lakelan…

  • I don't know... maybe it's just me, but everything I've been reading about E3 so far has been in Nintendo's favor. It's subtle, but it's there. Basically everyone is jumping on Sony for being nonexistant and uninnovative (from what I've seen). Ni…
  • I'd rather not get too far away from Wisconsin. I mean, it depends, obviously, but I don't know. Like pseudonym said, cost is a huge factor. (speaking of which, we also have an "alliance" type thing with Minnesota, so it's cheap for WI students ther…

  • iPods are not UMS devices. You have to use software (iTunes/ephPod/whatever else) to access it. I think there might be a way to use it as a storage drive (UMS), but if I remember right, it loses some functionality.
  • Rio ce2100/Carbon. Unless you like all the gimmicky things the iPods can do. I'd much rather have a player that's good at one thing rather than mediocre at a few.
  • That's an over-generalization, it really is. Sure it's fun to joke about. But if you're being honest - that you immediately disregard a human based on once-over about how they look - then I'll apologize for you right now. I'm sorry, everyone, on …

  • GOOD, GOOD, I didn't want anyone decent to be on Facebook anyway! It just recently became available for my high school. So I figured I'd sign up. There's only one decent person on there - the rest are all bloody sophomores (the one grade I cannot…

  • I loved the book. I liked pretty much everything that he's written, actually. I don't understand why people get worked up over the religious parts. It's fiction, and if nothing else, it provides an interesting and thought-provoking perspective.
  • Yeah, I like it. Didn't really care for their older stuff too much, but I like this. It's definitely blues-ier, which is good. On another note, the new Tool album comes out in retail today. One of my friends was antsy all day because he couldn't …

  • Right now there are no real "stinkers" out there. The only thing that you should worry about (honestly) is 1) the cost (SlickDeals always find the hottest deals) 2) the rebate (Seagate 5, WD 3, Maxtor retail 1/oem 3. I think. Honestly though, 5 …
  • The ONLY thing I don't think I'll like about the controllers is the stability. I mean... remember those split PS1 controllers? They were hard as hell to play on, mostly because you couldn't retain a firm enough grip. Hopefully these are different, t…

  • If I ever get a MySpace account, I told a bunch of my friends to punch me as hard as they can, to hopefully knock some sense into me. That whole site makes me sad.
  • You know... it made me sad at first, but then I thought about it. It basically covers everything that a good marketing campaign should: It gets stuck in peoples' heads (via oddness or the already innumerable jokes) It's got a double meaning (a n…
  • No, I won't be getting it. At least not till I have to, anyway. It's really boring, actually. For some reason I seem to be one of the few people who don't like the new flashy trend happening. I'm still using Messenger 6.2 because all the new crap ma…

  • Seeing as I just recently got a 500gb external, I went through these same problems. I came up with something that I feel is perfect for me. I have OCB (One-Click Backup) and SyncToy processes set up to run at 3am every night. OCB is a WinRar sche…
  • You guys wanna fight about it for a little bit? Just sayin'.
  • I'm a fan of Nomad and Prime's pace-off.
  • Oh geez guys, I need one of these...
  • Zen Vision:M without a doubt. I don't own either, but think about it. Creative has built their company around the audio business - Apple is just cashing in with the aesthetics-department. The Vision:M supports way more video formats, if you're in…
  • If you were at the center of the earth, you're right, there shouldn't be much gravity (assuming you can actually stand in the center). However, you have all the pressure of the Earth pressing down on you. It's like how if you go deep into the ocean,…

  • Can I ask... why you did this? I mean, did it look cancerous or something? If it did, why take the risk of not getting all of it? Did it just annoy you? ...I don't get it, I guess. It seems pointless.
  • ...aaaaaand two of my favorite extensions STILL don't work! yay! Oh freakin' awesome. I'm glad I was a smartass, because otherwise I wouldn't've gone and looked again. I've looked so many times I'd just given up. Turns out Download Manager Tweak …

  • Well, it's got a small, very quiet fan in it. After formatting for the last hour or so it's just warm to the touch - nothing at all to worry about so far. Thanks for the info on the card/cable - probably a smart move. Do you know anything about t…
  • Alright, I ended up going with the Kingwin enclosure, and it came today. Looks pretty good so far. I thought it looked goofy from the picture, but it actually looks pretty nice. The LEDs aren't real bright so far, but I guess I'll find out later ton…
  • Are you guys talking about those curling ones? If so, we've got those things all over. The great part about them is that I think they use ~5 watts or so to produce 60w of light (compared to the regular bulbs). And yeah, the bad part is that they tak…

  • Ugh. I really don't want to go through all the rigamorale of calling up India tech "support". I can't even do an online chat, because monitors don't have a service tag. Can I just email them?
  • Hah, watch all the fanboys lose $50, only to be screwed 'cause there aren't enough anyway. WOO!
