Hi

I was cleaning up my PC today and ran spybot S&D and one of the things listed is SmitFraud, and it couldn't fix the problem. I did a google search and almost everyones problem with it is something to do with an error when booting up, or at the desktop. This doesn't happen to me. I get no errors, my computer runs just fine, besides a few random restart/lock ups once or so a day(could smitfraud be causing this?).

Any help on how to remove this problem?

    I know one thing that fixes it is to go to www.ewido.com and run their online scanner. It gets it all everytime.

    Ewido is awesome, I have it, and webroot, seem to be a good team. Although it sucks that you have to pay.

    ewido is free, but I am gonna test it out. The online scanner seemed pretty good. How is it on system resources?

    If you all want to know the best virus scanner to get, get Kasperskey Anti-Virus or Nod32. I prefer nod32, as kaspersky has a nack for using alot of cpu. Nod32 uses barely any cpu and its great, i've been bug free for over a year now :)
