    I needed help with my Epox 8kha+, and google brought me here when I was 15. Yikes.
    Edit: Actually I remember now, the problem I had was my cpu was overheating. I learned from posting here that I needed to put some thermal paste between my heatsink and the cpu. It was my first build, I had no idea what I was doing.

    Wow, my story is almost identical except mine was an Abit KA7 (Slot A) motherboard for my second PC build in college; first was a Celeron 500 rig.

    Something about leaking capacitors in the Abit motherboards at the time brought people to Icrontic in droves.


    I like this thread. Seeing the wide variety of joining stories is great - but they all have one thing in common: we stayed for the community.
