Well I just found out I will be getting a pink slip shortly.
Man things just keep getting better in 2013.
Place I work at got defunded.

    Don't know about Texas, but here in Indy scrapping is a pretty (I'd like to say) common way to pick up extra cash, so ya could grab a truck and a fist full of trash, see if ya come up with copper n' such

    Well a friend suggested I get a twice card so I can apply for energy jobs.

    You don't need a TWIC for a lot of energy jobs, but it can certainly help with hireability. Often the company will assist you in getting it if you need it.
