Now that we have that out of the way, I picked up an early Fleetwood Mac CD. WAIT...did you know that before they were a big commercial hit, they were a well known blues/blues rock band with a few hits in England? Most of you know I like guitar. Well, the early Fleetwood Mac had a guy by the name of Peter Green. Sad story really, do a google, but OMFG does he have tone and chops for days.

If you can find them, I recommend:

Albatross - very mellow, would be good in a romantic setting (ENTROPY I SAID STOP IT)
Need Your Love So Bad - very bluesy, slow mover, fits with above cut
Black Magic Woman - yes, the same song covered and made a hit by Santana. Peter Green wrote it and the original version is by FM

    -and many others.

Terry I love the track and commented in the oth3r thread

If you like that, check out 'Then Play On' an early album of Fleetwood Macs' with Peter Green, quite rare and little known. But, imo, quite superb.

Tegan and Sara - More For Me
Flogging Molly - Delilah (This is live off the Alive Behind the Green Door album, but I love the new album!)
Desaparecidos - Greater Omaha (Thanks robby, and yeah, it's insane how much different he sounds with heavy music like this!)
    Phish - Army of One

(btw, I think Schism is a good song, but it is by far not the best song ... in fact I rank it towards the bottom :-/ )

    Now:
    The Get-Up Kids - Conversation
Don't Look Down - On My Own
Phantom Planet - Know It All
    Goldfinger - Counting the Days

AAaaaah Comfortably Numb- the song that turned me onto Pink Floyd...

I had a friend of a friend tell me that you could never really tune into Floyd unless you had 6 hits in you...scary.
