Slower folding when running with Daemon?

I have been running the Daemon for a while to get rid of the console from the tasklist but i have noticed that it doesn´t use as many cpucycles with Daemon as it does alone. Even the temperature is lower with Daemon.

With Daemon:

I did these tests several times yesterday as well to confirm this with another type of wu so it´s not a fluke. Quite a big difference as well i must say. Almost a minute/step. The same services was running during the tests as well and i was only surfing and emailing during both.

Ideas?

I have a suspicion that the client using firedaemon doesn't have the flags for optimizations running and the text only does, would that be accurate?

Terry, it actually have the flags. You can manually alter it to use them. And, it uses the shortcut anyway which is prepared with the flags. Im a bit confused about this actually. I only use one client though.

    What is the priority level?

I run a console and a genome for backup with firedaemon. Nothing wrong there.

Hmmm, I really don't know about this one as I have never personally used firedaemon. Maybe a quick search at the community forum could help shed some light on the problem.

I have fire daemon running on a lab computer at school and it has been going non-stop since february. I have never noticed any slow down in the system due to fire daemon, although i have no idea if folding is slowed down because i never installed the program normally, i set it up through daemon right from the start
