Wow. It’s been quite some time since I have dropped in to say hello.

It is fantastic to see that everyone is still dedicated to folding@home and that it hasn’t fallen by the wayside.

Life is rough and the last six months have been very difficult for my wife and I.
After battling breast cancer last year, her aunt is experiencing complications.
A close friend is going through kimo and radiation for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosed 4 weeks ago.
My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
My uncle was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had surgery. He is recovering now.
Last night we found out that my aunt has kidney cancer. She is having a CT scan today and surgery on Wednesday. We are hoping that the cancer has not spread to any other organs as we think that the cancer was not caught at an early stage.

Just saw your name the other day somewhere in the forums. Good to see you drop in. You're still family. I said a prayer for your relatives.

Good to hear from you again, although it would have been nice if it was on better terms.

Best of luck to you and your family. I know how tough it can be.

Thankfully my wife and I take care of ourselves, but you never know when it comes to genetics.
I am going to book an appointment to get checked out for the beginning of the year.
