they got me ( bloodhound.packed)
i recently downloaded a virus, not detrimental, but serious enough. the effects that it is having on my pc are as follows; it makes my explorer take a very long time to load the first page i go to FROM my homepage, but then the rest is easy surfing. also i now get the sparadic pop up. Norton anti virus picked up the virus as bloodhound. packed. is there any advice out there???????

Make sure you tick AutoClean under Scan Options.
Panda ActiveScan
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm
Make sure you tick Disinfect automatically under Scan Options.
Housecall at TrendMicro
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
Make sure you tick Auto Clean.
When it completes, post back the full filename of any files that cannot be cleaned or deleted.
