Folding & ISA Server 2004

Simple problem...

Folding cannot connect through my ISA 2004 server to fetch WU's :(

Reason: Have to have the http web proxy switched on for SurfControl to work (the reason for having ISA installed in the first place).

Tried:

IE Settings
Custom defined settings
Firewall Client

None of these will work.

Anyone else have it running through an ISA 2004 Enterprise server WITHOUT turning off the http web proxy (which is what others on the folding forums have done to get it working).

I got 12GHZ + here and I can't do nowt with 'em :shakehead

This is totally out of my league. The only possible solution which occurs to me is good old sneakernet.

Found this through Google. Since i know nothing about it i don't know if it's any help to you. Just worth a try.

It appears that Google, as well as Folding, runs better on Aussie computers. Nice find - I hope it works! :D

Turn on logging for your ISA, and let f@h try connecting to get some WUs.
Run the logging report to determine what ports are required to be open.
You should be able to create a new access list in ISA specifically for allowing those ports to pass through.

I have some workarounds if you don't get that working.
