Ok here it is
My son has this Icon in the task bar, It's an ad and I turn off window messager
and rebooted still there.
Ran zone alarm and spybot and one from short media can't remember the one, they found a few things but that ad is still in the task bar by the clock.
so any ideas on how to get rid of it?

first thing i would run is CWShredder http://www.trendmicro.com/cwshredder/ but something I think everyone should do is http://wiki.castlecops.com/Malware_Removal_and_Prevention:_Overview

goodluck....I am not a mod or anything, just someone who knows how it feels waiting around for a problem to be answered.....feel free to ask me if you have any questions, I have probably fixed a couple zillion trojan/malware/virus related issues.

I moved your thread to the appropriate forum. This seems sure to be a malware problem.

p.s. as far as spyware and adware are concerned there are 3 programs total that IMO you should have on any pc running windows. sounds like you have at least one...spybot....you said you ran zone alarm so i am assuming you use their firewall/AV.... anyway you should dl "spywareblaster" http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html "adaware" http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware make sure you "check for updates after you dl, before you run.

well dont go downloading a bunch of uneeded crap, what i have listed is all you need along with "ccleaner" until you find out that it is something worse. try cwshreedder really quick, it dl's instantly. and if i was you i would go to http://www.ewido.net/en/ and do an online scan.

no problem...use that first link, follow some of the steps, judt do a little common problems yourself, then if your still having the problem come back and post a new, seperat "hijackthis" log....explain the symptoms and problems and that will be much easier to help you. if its just an icon your worried about right click on the taskbar where it is located, go to "properties" and then "customize" and remove it...although i doubt you didnt know that....point being, be specific.

DogDragon, the problem you described sounds like Smitfraud, but I cannot say that is the infection unless I see a HijackThis log.

I've created a small guide here to remove that infection. Give them a try. :)

Ok ran ad-aware and spyware blaster
But that ad icon is still there right click left click
and the ad opens it's for malwarewipe and the second is for
    virusbusters
I disabled messager in service(local) in the control panel
He still have a proble with pop ups when he's not surfing.
Just leaving it on and pop ups would be on screen when he
    comes home.
I have to get HijackThis and check out more of what you posted trogan

You have a Smitfraud infection. If you follow the link I posted, you should be able to remove it.

Post the HJT log if you want and I'll have a look at it.

Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
    http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
Extract all the files to your Destop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

    Did you save it?

Also, you posted the wrong log from SmitfraudFix. You posted the log from Option 1, I need the log from Option 2.
